| Nashua, NH - August 1, 2000 - KeyCommerce, Inc., a business-to-business (B2B) solution provider, is helping Sun Professional Services build an e-commerce solution for a Fortune 500 client. The system allows the client to sell products via the Internet providing an alternative channel for sales. In addition, it guides the buyer to local dealers and provides a means for dealers to register and purchase products from the client.
The system is being deployed on the Sun Solaris platform running Intershop's Enfinity e-commerce server. KeyCommerce Professional Services is responsible for implementing several features of the system including Customer Service Representative (CSR) activities and on-line payment processing. It is estimated that 75 service reps will be using the system over the web in support of anonymous users and dealer related activity such as maintaining service rep security profiles, activate/deactivate dealers, add, change, clone and cancel orders, process returns, and run various standard and ad-hoc reports.
