Nashua, NH - June 18, 2002-KeyCommerce, Inc., an emerging leader in Channel Enablement and Fulfillment Management software solutions, today announced that it had been selected by Viisage Technology (NASDAQ: VISG) to provide a Secure Inventory and Fulfillment Management system for their Secure Digital ID business.
The Internet based Solution will be deployed over a secure extranet and is expected to significantly improve the operating efficiency of Viisage's Digital Driver's License business by increasing inventory turn over and decreasing response times for consumables fulfillment. The system will be used to manage the inventory of secure consumables at approximately 2000 Department of Motor Vehicles Sites in over 15 states nationwide.
"This robust application provides our Department of Motor Vehicle customers in the various states with secure channels to manage the use of inventory items used in the production of the latest generation of Digital Drivers Licenses," said Mr. Milt Alpern, CFO at Viisage.
